TextEmotionEstimator (“the App”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect


The App itself does not collect, store, or track personal information about users.


However, the App processes the following data only for functionality purposes:

  • User-provided text

    Text entered by the user is sent to a third-party AI service (OpenAI) for analysis.

  • OpenAI API Key

    The API key is provided by the user and stored locally on the device using secure system storage (Keychain).

    The API key is never transmitted to the developer.

2. Third-Party Services


The App uses the OpenAI API to estimate emotional signals from text.

  • Text input is transmitted directly from the App to OpenAI for processing.

  • The developer does not receive, log, or store the text or the results.

  • Use of the OpenAI API is subject to OpenAI’s own Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

3. Data Storage

  • Text input and analysis results are not stored on external servers by the App.

  • Any temporary data exists only in memory or locally on the user’s device.

  • No analytics, tracking, or advertising frameworks are used.

4. Purpose of Processing


The App processes text solely for experimental and informational purposes, including:

  • Estimating emotional signals in text

  • Research and exploratory analysis


The App does not provide medical, psychological, legal, or professional advice, and must not be used for diagnostic or decision-making purposes.

5. User Responsibility


Users are responsible for the content they enter into the App.


Please do not input:

  • Personal data

  • Confidential or sensitive information

  • Secrets, passwords, or private identifiers

6. Children’s Privacy


The App is not designed for use by children under the age of 13.

No personal data from children is knowingly collected.
